1. Parties

3. Services
- Performance: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (breaks: 15 minutes per hour).
- Repertoire: Professional set appropriate for Wedding; reasonable requests considered when provided in advance.
- Equipment: Performer provides instruments. Client provides suitable performance area and access to power.
4. Payment
- Total fee: $1,500.00
- Deposit: $375.00 due upon agreement (non-refundable; earned upon receipt)
- Balance due: Due on the day of the event upon completion
- Payment methods accepted: Cash, Venmo, Check
5. Cancellation
- Client cancellation 30 days or more before event: Deposit earned by Performer; no additional fees.
- Client cancellation within 14 days of event: Deposit earned by Performer; 50% of remaining balance also due.
- If event is postponed by mutual agreement, payments made apply to the rescheduled date.
6. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, natural disaster, government order, illness, or other events making performance unsafe or illegal). Deposit remains earned by Performer; balance payments may be refunded less any non-recoverable expenses. Parties will attempt to reschedule in good faith.
7. Logistics
- Arrival/load-in: Performer arrives 60 minutes before start for setup and sound check.
- Parking/loading: Client provides reasonable access and any required parking arrangements.
- Weather: For outdoor events, Client provides cover and a safe, weather-appropriate performance area; Performer may pause or relocate if conditions risk damage to equipment or safety.
8. Liability and Safety
Performer carries standard professional equipment at own risk; Client provides a safe environment and power where required. Performer's liability is limited to amounts paid under this agreement. Neither party is liable for incidental or consequential damages.
9. Recording and Usage
- Audio/video recording by Client: Permitted for personal, non-commercial use with credit; commercial use requires prior written consent.
- Social media: Reasonable sharing with credit is acceptable unless otherwise agreed.
10. Governing Law
- This agreement is governed by the laws of California.
